Universities Scotland has appointed Claire McPherson as its next director
Vice-chancellors’ group Universities Scotland has appointed Claire McPherson as its next director.
McPherson (pictured) brings plenty of political experience to the role since she is joining from the Scottish government, where she has held an array of roles, including in the first minister’s policy unit.
