House of Lords hears of inquiry into use of unscrupulous recruitment agents

The Department for Education will focus on recruitment agents in its investigation into whether universities are unfairly taking on international rather than UK students, the House of Lords has heard.

Action will be taken “to ensure fairness between domestic and international students”, education minister and Conservative peer Diana Barran said in a debate on 1 February.
