Imperial aims for 25% more research activity in priority areas

University president Hugh Brady details new strategy, including four planned “schools of convergence science”

Imperial College London is looking to increase its research activity by at least 25 per cent across four key areas, according to its president Hugh Brady.

The university launched a new strategy on 5 March, detailing the creation of four interdisciplinary “schools of convergence science” over the next two years and a “major recruitment drive”.
