LSE reviews sexual harassment reporting processes

University says it takes reports “extremely seriously” after student newspaper publishes claim of mismanaged case

The London School of Economics and Political Science has made changes to how it handles reports of sexual harassment to bring it “in line with best practice across the higher education sector”, the university has confirmed.

The confirmation comes after the LSE’s student newspaper, The Beaver, published an article claiming the university had mishandled a 2021 sexual misconduct investigation. The Beaver spoke with eight current and former members of staff about the case.
