Incoming chair of TenU hopes spring budget will boost UK university spinouts

TenU, an international collaboration of 10 technology transfer offices at some of the world’s leading universities, has appointed Tim Haines as chair.

Haines (pictured) is an executive partner and managing director at Abingworth, a global life sciences venture investment firm. Before that, he led the University of Cambridge spinout Astex Pharmaceuticals.
