Higher education minister acknowledges challenges but says England has fair funding system

The UK’s higher education minister has said that universities receive “no mean whack of money”.

Appearing before the House of Commons Education Committee on 19 March, Robert Halfon was asked whether he felt changes might be needed to the way universities in England are funded.
