Academics call out ‘dark money’ in university funding

Letter comes following investigation that exposed scale of payments from secret donors

UK academics, politicians and campaigners have signed an open letter calling for more transparency over university funding.

Their plea comes following an investigation in December by media platform OpenDemocracy, which exposed the scale of so-called ‘dark money’ in higher education funding.
