Search for replacement underway as leader exits after seven years

Karen Cox will leave her role as vice-chancellor of the University of Kent next month, the university has confirmed.

On 4 April, Cox said she intends to step down on 22 May, after seven years in post. Her achievements include the launch of the Kent and Medway Medical School with Canterbury Christ Church University last year.
