Strike vote confirmed at Kent as Sheffield Hallam commences industrial action ballot

Union members at the University of Kent have voted to take strike action over course closures, while union members at Sheffield Hallam University will balloted for industrial action next week.

The University of Kent recently announced plans to phase out courses such as philosophy, anthropology, art history, journalism, health and social care, and music and audio technology.
