Tributes paid to Stirling research services director

John Rogers, pioneer of the UK’s Association of Research Managers and Administrators, has died

Research managers have paid tribute to Stirling research services director John Rogers, who was also a leading figure at the UK’s Association of Research Managers and Administrators.

Rogers, who died last week aged 59 following a sudden illness, had worked at the University of Stirling for 18 of his 25 years in higher education. He was “inspirational, a visionary and a close friend to many”, the university said in a statement.
