Unite sends notification of intention to ballot for industrial action at University and College Union
Employees of the University and College Union are balloting for industrial action in a dispute over the workplace culture at the union.
On 18 April, the UCU branch of the Unite union said the UCU had been sent official notification of its intention to ballot. Staff claim the UCU has not treated their concerns about equality, health and safety and working conditions with sufficient urgency.
