Higher Education Business and Community Interaction data show gains elsewhere as Hesa launches survey consultation

Higher education income from collaborative research with businesses has fallen by more than £100 million year on year, according to the Higher Education Business and Community Interaction survey.

The results of the latest survey, which tracks universities’ interactions with businesses and monitors factors such as intellectual property and the number of startups emerging from higher education, were published by the Higher Education Statistics Agency on 4 April.
