UK Research Integrity Office recommends changes to culture of how misconduct allegations are addressed
A national effort is needed to change the culture around addressing research misconduct in the UK, according to a report by the UK Research Integrity Office.
The report lays out immediate steps that could be taken across the research community to improve how instances of misconduct are handled but stopped short of endorsing a national regulatory body.
