NUS and ex-president settle employment tribunal

Shaima Dallali case with UK National Union of Students concludes after fallout from antisemitism claims

The National Union of Students in the UK has settled an employment tribunal with its former president, Shaima Dallali, who it dismissed two years ago.

Dallali was appointed in March 2022 and took up the role in July that year. However, after details of a social media post she made when 18 years old prompted allegations of antisemitism, the NUS conducted an inquiry and, subsequently, her contract was ended.
