UCU confirms mandate for industrial action over job losses

University and College Union members at the University of Lincoln have voted to strike over job cuts.

Some 80 per cent of UCU members who voted supported industrial action, on a turnout of 55 per cent. The UCU said that dates for strikes will be announced “in due course” and that they could commence as soon as next month—potentially affecting clearing and student open days.
