A song for Europe

Now we go over live to the second half of this year’s HE-Eurovision Song Contest, with your host Graham Wogan.

Graham: Welcome back to Lisbon for the judging of HE-Eurovision 2018. We have heard all the songs and had to endure the half-time entertainment, I don’t think I’ll ever forget the Walport Dancers and their version of the Gregory Isaacs classic, Night Night (Paul) Nurse. Once seen, never unseen.

While we await the results from juries around Europe, the camera is going back stage to see some of the acts this evening. And there he is Ali J, little Alistair Jarvis, the boy from Woburn House in London, who sang his heart out for the UK tonight. Some in the hall thought that his choice of song, Friends with Defined Benefits, was a little risqué but let’s see how it plays with the judges across Europe.
