Captain’s log, Star date 14 September 2030. Since a no-deal Brexit left the country in economic ruins, the UK space programme has come into its own. We travel across the vast reaches of space in search of bilateral research agreements. As we approach this uncharted planet I have a feeling that there is something strangely familiar about it, but I’ve had déjà vu before.
