After a dinner organised by the Royal Society to celebrate UK success in science and research, the universities and science minister, Chris Skidmore, finds himself in the company of three of his Conservative predecessors: Sam Gyimah, Jo Johnson and David Willetts. The four ministers for universities retire to the lounge where they sit down to enjoy a digestif.
