After Damian Hinds’s interventions at the weekend, it is good to be spending the bank holiday relaxing and not thinking about the review of post-18 education and funding. I go to the garden centre to pick up some plants. After a lovely, milky coffee and a brie and cranberry baguette, I go to the till to pay for the flowers.
