As we reported on Tuesday, around 40 universities in the UK are facing a marking boycott, strike action or both in the coming months as part of an escalation of action on pay and conditions.
On 27 April the University and College Union’s higher education committee met to discuss the next steps in the separate industrial dispute over pensions—but there will be no news on what transpired there until the motions are voted on next week, we understand. Our prediction? Expect strikes.
