Ministers are loudly promoting Horizon, but listening is in short supply

The government might have taken three years longer than any researcher wanted to get the UK into Horizon Europe, but now that it’s happened, ministers’ enthusiasm has warmed up considerably. 

With researchers eligible to receive grants under the EU R&D programme again, science secretary Michelle Donelan has launched a “multi-channel campaign blitz” to encourage them to apply.
