North Dakota State University (NDSU) has lost federal earmark funding on which it relied to support some of its research, and its Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) has been “critically affected,” reports the North Dakota paper The Forum.
NDSU received nearly $36 million in federal earmarks in fiscal year 2011, according to the paper.
