Embattled climate scientist gets job back

Prominent climate scientist Peter Gleick, who was alienated from the scientific community in February after using a false identity to obtain confidential internal papers from a non-profit that questions the scientific consensus on climate change, has returned to his old job.

He takes up the reins again as president of the Pacific Institute for Studies in Development, Environment, and Security in Oakland, California.
