Bioqual quitting chimp research business

Bioqual, a medical research and research services company that has been conducting chimpanzee research for about three decades, will get out of the business completely by the end of July. The development comes as the US government moves away from the use of great apes in medical research.

Bioqual was contracted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to hold research chimps for the agency.
