An online petition circulated by the social action Internet site ForceChange is trying to oust Rep. Paul Broun, a Georgia Republican, from the House Science, Space and Technology Committee.
The move comes after Broun’s recent remarks surfaced indicating that he does not believe in evolution or the Big Bang theory. He is a medical doctor with a chemistry degree.
