NIH wants to help researchers affected by hurricane Sandy

The National Institutes of Health says it is committed to helping the research community pick up the pieces after Hurricane Sandy struck on 29 October.

“The immediate and long term economic and emotional costs of natural disasters such as Sandy can be overwhelming,” wrote Sally Rockey, director of the agency’s Office of Extramural Research, in a 2 November blog post.
