The National Institutes of Health’s National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) will undergo a major restructuring to “accommodate broad changes in its mission”, with effect from 1 October.
Restructuring includes dividing NHGRI’s extramural research program into four new divisions and promoting to division status the office overseeing policy, communications and education as well as the office overseeing administration and management.
