NIH seeks input on ‘big data’ training

The National Institutes of Health is seeking input on the short and long-term training needs of individuals who work with biomedical data, and the agency is specifically soliciting examples of programs or strategies to cross-train scientists at all career levels.

In particular, NIH wants feedback from biomedical researchers—including graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, researchers, scientific societies, grantee institutions and industry—on how to best allocate resources for this critical training need.
