NSF asks principal investigators to suggest ways to reduce admin workload

The National Science Foundation is asking federally funded principal investigators which requirements from science agencies and universities contribute the most to their administrative workload.

In a request for information published on 25 March, NSF also asks that these grantees offer recommendations for reducing such workload.

“Your responses will provide vital input so that we can implement agency-level changes and offer recommendations to reduce unnecessary and redundant administrative requirements,” the agency explained. Comments are due by 24 May.
