The US National Science Foundation and five philanthropic partners have announced a new funding programme for teams to explore the ethical and social considerations associated with rapidly developing technologies.
Bids for the $16 million NSF-led Responsible Design, Development and Deployment of Technologies programme are expected to stimulate research and innovation and fill gaps in existing R&I.
