NIH releases guides on upcoming grant application changes

Moves include reorganisation of review criteria for assessing bids for National Institutes of Health funding

The National Institutes of Health has issued guidance on forthcoming changes to its requirements for grant applicants and to its procedures for assessing applications.

Published on 4 April, the guidance covers six different sets of changes, which it said are “all meant to simplify, clarify, and/or promote greater fairness towards a level playing field for applicants throughout the application and review processes”.
