UCS targets corporate influence on science policy

The US government needs to take additional steps to protect the nation’s scientific policymaking process from corporate influence, according to a report released by the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) on 17 February.

The report details the most common ways in which corporations effect how science is used to make policy and prevent the US from using the best available science to protect public health and the environment.
