Journals told that faculty member falsified data

The University of Connecticut (UConn) Health Center has sent notifications to 11 scientific journals that had published studies conducted by a member of its faculty after a research misconduct investigation indicated he was guilty of 145 counts of fabrication and data falsification.

Dismissal proceedings for Dipak Das are currently underway, and other investigations are ongoing involving former members of his laboratory, the centre announced on 11 January.
