Associations want the next US president to begin by undoing Trump’s most unpopular policies

University and college associations have asked the United States’ president-elect, Joe Biden, to prioritise undoing damage they say was done to US higher education by the policies of his predecessor in the presidency, Donald Trump.

The associations set out a wishlist of nine priorities in an 18 November letter addressed to Biden and the vice-president-elect, Kamala Harris.
