House education committee chair vows to hold universities to account in light of student testimony
Jewish students have recounted their experiences of what a senior Republican politician has described as an “explosion of antisemitism” at US universities following the October 2023 Hamas attacks on Israeli civilians.
Since those attacks took place, the Israeli government has launched its own attacks in Palestinian territories in Gaza, killing many thousands of civilians.
