Members of the Office of Science and Technology Policy have said that one of its divisions is now completely unstaffed, although the White House has disputed the claim.

Eleanor Celeste, assistant director for biomedical and forensic sciences in the OSTP’s science division under former president Barack Obama, announced her departure from the division on Twitter on 30 June.

CBS News reported that she and two other Obama-era employees who departed that day were the division’s last, leaving it empty.
