White House seeks input on new disclosure requirements

                  

Requirements are intended to identify conflicts of interest among applicants for federal research funding

The White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy is seeking comment on new research security standards developed in collaboration with federal science and security agencies since early 2021.

The standards include disclosure requirements for grant applicants, which will be used to determine whether there are conflicts of interest among researchers applying for grants from federal research agencies, the OSTP said.
