Heed foundations’ aid influence, says report

Public aid agencies like the UK’s Department for International Development (DfID) need to take heed not to have their spending priorities influenced by those of the growing number of private donors, a UK parliamentary report has warned.

The report, published by the House of Commons International Development Select Committee on 20 January, charts the rapid rise of private foundations on the global aid scene.
