The Canadian and Indian natural resources ministers met this week to discuss collaboration in energy R&D and conservation research.
Canada’s Joe Oliver met his counterpart Ashwani Kumar in New Delhi to assess India’s 12th economic development plan, which includes major efforts to develop energy research in order to boost the economy. Kumar said that India needs collaborative rather than competitive science to achieve this goal.
