ICSU president receives French national honour

Yuan Tseh Lee, the president of the International Council for Science (ICSU), has received a French government honour for his work on improving scientific exchange.

Lee was awarded the National Order of Merit during an award ceremony on 2 October. The medal, established by former French president Charles de Gaulle, is awarded to internationals deemed to have made important contributions to France.
