Food security fund invests in six more projects

Six joint Canadian-developing country teams have each been awarded between CAD$1 million and CAD$4m for agricultural and nutrition research from the Canadian International Food Security Research Fund (CIFSRF).

The projects include development of vaccines in Africa, use of nanotechnology to reduce fruit loss in South Asia and increasing productivity and nutrition in Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa through aquaculture, home gardens, improved crops, and soil management.
