UN e-atlas on R&D published

The first edition of an e-atlas on research and development data has been published by the Unesco Institute for Statistics (UIS), the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization announced on 18 June.

The publication contains maps, charts and ranking tables for more than 75 indicators on human and financial resources related to R&D. The information includes historical data to track trends over time and measure the impact of policies. Many indicators are disaggregated by sex to better evaluate the role of women in science.
