Antigua state schools underperforming, says minister

Antigua’s Minister of Education Jacqui-Quinn-Leandro says more funds need to be pumped into early childhood education to prevent pupils from underperforming later at school.

“A lot of parents do not send their children to pre-school because they cannot afford the fees. If the government is able to provide more facilities then you will have more children getting that solid foundation.”
