Canadian Space Agency president to leave

Steve MacLean, president of the Canadian Space Agency, is to leave the organisation on 1 February.

He is joining a venture being set up by Mike Lazaridis, founder of Research in Motion, the makers of Blackberry mobile devices, and will lead a team undertaking R&D related to quantum physics.
