Firm opens skin centre in Singapore

A research centre on Asian skin biology, funded by cosmetics company L’Oréal, has opened its doors at Singapore’s Institute of Medical Biology. The centre, which houses eight scientists, is the start of a planned skin biology research cluster that will eventually expand to include other research institutions. According to the company, Singapore was chosen because of its local expertise in biology.
