Brazil sets its sights on biotech
Brazil’s government has said it plans to develop a programme to stimulate research and industrial output in biotechnology. President Dilma Rousseff, who requested the programme, wants to see students doing more learning in laboratories instead of classrooms and the creation of innovation centres that would work alongside education and research centres.
