Society needs clearly explained science, CSA says

Clear and accurate presentation of scientific findings is essential for democratic decision-making, says New Zealand’s chief scientific adviser, Peter Gluckman.

Gluckman published a discussion paper called ‘Interpreting science—implications for public understanding, advocacy and policy formation’ on 4 April. The paper identifies and describes issues that are important to keep in mind when interpreting scientific research.
