Fears for wellbeing of small number of remaining protestors

The head of a besieged university in Hong Kong has urged police to allow remaining protestors to leave the campus without being arrested.

Universities have become major points of conflict in ongoing pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong. Despite protests petering out while the territory has gone to the polls, a small number of protestors remain on campus at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which is under a police cordon.
