Amazon founder says fund will be open to ‘scientists, activists, NGOs’
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man, is launching a $10 billion fund to fight climate change.
Announcing the initiative on Instagram on 17 February, Bezos said the money “will fund scientists, activists, NGOs—any effort that offers a real possibility to help preserve and protect the natural world”.
