The World Health Organization is convening “a global research and innovation forum” on the respiratory coronavirus 2019-nCoV and has asked for hundreds of millions of dollars to help stop the spread of the virus, which has killed at least 637 people.

The forum will take place on 11-12 February in Geneva, and is being organised alongside the international funder network the Global Research Collaboration for Infectious Disease Preparedness.
